APPLE MALPUA WITH MIXED FRUIT SAUCE.

Helllooooo,

Since this is my first post, I thought why not start on a 'sweet' note. Malpua is a pretty common dessert in the Indian households. But, I thought of adding a little twist by giving it a fruity flavor. So here comes my APPLE MALPUA WITH MIXED FRUIT SAUCE.

INGREDIENTS:
For Malpua: 10 tbsp Flour, Paste of an Apple, Small pieces of ripe Mango, 1 tsp Cinnamon powder, 1 tsp Black Pepper powder, ½ cup cold Milk, 1 cup cold Water, 4-5 tbsp Sugar, ½ tsp Salt, Cooking Oil.
For the Sauce: 10 Black Grapes, 1 Mango  1 Orange, 1 tbsp Sugar, 1 tsp Salt, 1 tsp Black Pepper Powder, ½ Pan Leaf, 1 tsp Cardamom powder, 3 Bay Leaves, Cooking Oil.

PROCEDURE:
Mix all the ingredients of Malpua, except for oil. Make sure you get a thick consistency of the mixture. Heat oil in a deep frying pan. Now take a little portion of the thick mixture (say 2 tablespoon) and drop it together carefully into the center of the frying pan, so that it takes almost a round shapes. Fry both sides of the Malpua in medium flame, until it turns golden brown.
Meanwhile, except for bay leaves & oil, put the rest of the ingredients of the Sauce in a blender & blend them into a fine sauce. Heat 1 tspn oil in a pan & drop the bay leaves. Now add the mixed fruit sauce & cook for a couple of minutes. Pour it into a bowl & refrigerate for a minimum 30 mins.
Place the Malpuas on a plate. And spread a thick layer of the mixed fruit sauce over it. Garnish with sesame seeds.

So, try this out & do tell me how you like it. Oh, & by the way, if you can add any other twist to it (which I'am sure you will), please do share with me too. I'd love to try out your twist as well. :-)
